Today, worldwide, more than 40 million people are infected with AIDS. In Canada, 58,000 people are living with the disease, including more than 11,500 British Columbians.

With a history that is rooted in medical mystery, public fear, and social stigma, there is still a great deal of public misinformation about HIV and AIDS. Unfortunately, ignorance and inaccurate information promote prejudice and mistreatment of people affected by this disease.

We need your help to end stigma against people with HIV/AIDS.
